- How do I get tickets?

Advance Tickets can be purchased online from our website (click here). The earlier you purchase them, the better the price will be! There is a discount for tickets purchased in advance. Alternatively, you can pay at the gate.
- Can I use my advance tickets on any day of the show?
Yes, advance tickets can be redeemed on Friday, Saturday or Sunday – your choice.
- Do you offer discounts for military and CAF members?
Yes. There is a discount rate available for active duty military and current CAF members. Please have military I.D. or CAF Membership card to present at the gate.
- Can I get to the show using public transportation?
Yes. DART bus routes 21, 453 and 278 drop off at the Red Bird Transit center which is approximately a 5 minute walk from the front gate. The site is also served by Uber and Lyft. We recommend using the intersection of Challenger Dr and Saturn Dr as your pickup/drop-off point for ridesharing apps.
- Can I fly in to the show?
Yes, we warmly welcome GA visitors and plenty of parking is available right next to the main display area with Ambassador Jet Center. Please be sure to check the NOTAM carefully. The field is expected to be fully open for GA traffic until 10 a.m. each day, and after 5 p.m. Operations outside these hours may be possible with some coordination.
- How much is parking?
Parking is included in your ticket price, there is no additional charge.
- Where is the parking?
Parking is on the airport grounds. On arrival at the airport will be directed to the best available parking area by our crew. The primary parking lots are about a 5 minute walk to the main gate. Overflow lots are about a 10 minute walk to the front gate.
- Is there “Handicapped Parking”?
Yes. You must have a handicapped plate or tag in the car and make sure the parkers flagging your car are aware of your handicapped status. They will direct you to the handicapped parking areas. Handicapped parking is limited and is on a first-come-first-served basis. Please arrive early to insure a parking spot.
- Is there parking for motorcycles?
Yes, you will be directed to the motorcycle parking area by our parking crew. The parking will be on concrete.
- Can I go out to my car and re-enter the show?
Yes, have your hand stamped as you exit and you will be able to re-enter the show.
- Can I bring a scooter/wheelchair/golf cart?
Motorized scooters and wheelchairs for elderly or special needs patrons are allowed on the airshow grounds, however personal golf carts, Segways, hover boards, skate boards, etc. are not allowed.
- Can I bring a lawn chair or blanket?
Yes. Seating is not included with your General Admission ticket and guests are invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit. However, no tents, large umbrellas, or canopies are allowed.
- Can I bring my own food and drink?
You may bring your own food and drink, however you are NOT allowed to bring in a large cooler, alcoholic beverages or glass containers. Any food or drink must be in clear plastic container or bag for quick inspection. Loose ice is prohibited. Frozen ice packs are allowed. No large bags. Any bags brought in are subject to search by the security personnel at the gates and you may not be allowed in with such items. No cooking equipment is allowed.
Remember that there are many different food and drink vendors available at the show.
- Is there a premium “VIP area” that I can buy tickets to?
Check back for more information on a VIP ticket option.
- Can I bring a stroller or wagon for my kids?
Yes, strollers or small wagons are allowed. Please limit any diaper bags to the smallest you can manage. All items are subject to search by security personnel at the gates and they have the final say on what is allowed in.
- Are cameras allowed?
Yes, cameras for personal use are allowed. Your camera bags may be checked by gate security upon entry.
- Are Drones allowed?

Pets are NOT allowed onto the Airshow area and should NOT be left in vehicles. Guide and assistance animals are permitted but please understand that loud noises and explosions may frighten the animals.
- Can you give me a schedule of attractions?
Check the website for the most up to date schedule.
- Is the show the same on each day?
No, it changes day by day. Please check the schedule.
- Can I get a ride in one of the airplanes?
Yes indeed! More information on aircraft rides is available here.
- Are ground tours available on any of the airplanes?
Yes, several of the larger airplanes will be open for ground tours. A separate charge may apply.
- Can I meet World War II veterans?
Yes. There will be an autograph / meet & greet tent where you can meet WWII veterans. We will publish a schedule on this website closer to the event.
- I want to bring a WWII veteran, what do I do?

- Are there educational activities for families and children?
Yes, there is a family activity area where you will be able to participate in a variety of fun, educational, hands-on activities. Our RISE ABOVE exhibit will also be on site, featuring an exciting movie experience based on the inspirational story of the Tuskegee Airmen.
- Can I volunteer at the show?
Yes, volunteers are needed before, during and after the show. Please click here to register for more information. The deadline to register to volunteer is Sept. 27th.
- Can I bring a military vehicle or participate as a re-enactor?

- Is there shade?
The Airshow is held under an open sky. You are encouraged to bring hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen lotion. Limited shade may be found but there is no “shaded area” Large umbrellas, tents and canopies are not allowed.
- Do I need hearing protection (ear plugs)?
You will need to make your own choices on this matter. Although no jet aircraft are participating in the show, the noise from engines and pyrotechnic explosions may be painful or harmful for some.
- What happens if it rains?
Unless the weather is severe, we will fly as much of the show as is safe and possible. In the event that all remaining days of show are canceled, your ticket price will be considered a tax-deductible contribution to an IRC 501(C)3 organization. Due to FAA permit restrictions and other commitments it is not possible to reschedule the airshow for another weekend.
- Is the show handicap accessible?
The airshow has made every effort to accommodate those with special needs. Some of the accommodations offered include, a handicap parking area, ADA portable restrooms.
- Can I be a vendor at the show?
Sorry, there are no vendor opportunities available in 2016. Please check back next year.
